Dr. Emily Ports is originally from West Texas. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2023 before continuing her education at Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2026. Gig' Em Aggies!
As a general practitioner, Dr. Ports enjoys the diversity that veterinary medicine offers and values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. She has particular interests in internal medicine and managing chronic diseases, finding great fulfillment in partnering with families to support their pets through every stage of life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ports enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that means relaxing by the pool or spending a day on the lake. She also loves reading, working on her latest needlepoint project, traveling to new countries, and spending time with her dog, Mavis.
Whether at work or at home, Dr. Ports is passionate about creating meaningful connections and providing compassionate care to the animals and people she serves. She is excited to be a trusted part of your pet’s care!
